Web 2.0 - Definition

Web 2.0 is a term which describes how the use of internet and online services have evolved into a collation of personal publications and social-networking groups. The term was coined in 2004 in which users began to expand and experiment with the internet, unleashing new found features. Independent developers flooded the world wide web with applications and platforms encouraging  individuals to display and publish their own documents.
